Why These Limits Matter for Bamboo
Bamboo fiber is a regenerated cellulose fiber. It is exceptionally soft, but heat and mechanical stress damage it faster than they damage cotton. High wash temperature and long immersion swell and weaken the fiber, high drying temperature causes shrinkage, wringing distorts the knit structure, and direct strong sunlight fades reactive dyes. Following the limits above keeps the hand feel, dimensions and color stable through the product's full life.
Using This as Your Care Label
This is the instruction set we recommend printing on bamboo textile care labels. If you need a shortened version for a small woven label, use: machine wash cold, do not bleach, tumble dry gentle, hang dry in shade, cold iron. Tell us your label format and we will supply the matching artwork text.
